He returned home on Christmas Eve.
Former President Bill Clinton was discharged from a Washington hospital on Tuesday after receiving treatment for a severe flu the day before. He was admitted on Monday for testing and monitoring.
“He and his family are deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and are touched by the kind messages and well wishes he received,” said Angel Ureña, the former president’s deputy chief of staff.
President Clinton, now 78 years old, returned home in time for Christmas day, and “sends his warmest wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season to all,” Urena said.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
